- Young men and women in San Francisco County, ages 18-25, at risk of incarceration, or in the process of reentry into everyday life.

Both gender-specific programs, clients are paired with a case manager who has a broad knowledge base in community resources and the criminal justice system.































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































Together, they create a customized plan for short-term goals around housing, work, education, family and therapeutic support.































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































This plan is supported by inner development work that helps clients advance their personal insights, empowerment and healing, in order to best meet the demands of life outside and build a positive life for themselves and their families.































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































Young Women Rising also includes Rising Voices, an arts-based theater component that allows clients to express themselves for further healing and self-reflection.































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































The theater programs create a safe space for clients to process their life experience and recognize and repair the harm they caused in their lives.
