Women's Restorative Justice Program Shirley's Place
The Women's Restorative Justice Program provides transitional housing, case management, and supportive services for women with a criminal history in Winnebago County and who are recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction. Supportive services include transportation, ID assistance, child care, advocacy and referrals, assistance with court appearances, job readiness training, financial literacy, and drug and alcohol counseling and testing.
Eligibility:Women must be in recovery from drugs and alcohol, have a criminal history in Winnebago County, and be homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Documents needed:Photo ID, birth certificate, proof of income, proof of residency, Social Security card.
Fees:35% of net income within 90 days of intake.
