Project Rebound.
A program assisting formerly incarcerated individuals wanting to enter San Francisco State University.
Program offers admissions for men and women who might not normally qualify for university acceptance because of application deadlines and minor academic deficiencies.
Program is supported by the Associated Students and many other departments at SFSU.
Project Rebound Requirements:
Must be formerly incarcerated;off or on parole or probation.
Must be living or paroling to the S.F. Bay Area
Ability to perform college level work
Be motivated to succeed and benefit from a college education
Maintain satisfactory progress by taking and completing 12 or at least 6 units each semester
High School Transcripts/GED(for freshman)
56-60 units of credit (for transfer students)
College transcripts (for transfer students)
ACT or SAT scores (for freshman)
Admission application(CSU Mentor)
Financial Aid application

Advocacy for students with parole or probation difficulties
Academic Program Advising
FAFSA assistance, if needed( i.e. educational grants,scholarships,federal loans)
Health Center
Limited traveling assistance if needed
