The Curry Institute operates the Returning Citizens Reintegration Program.
This program is tailored to individual needs, lasting 1 year and 90 days, with 6 months of vocational trade training occurring during incarceration and 90 days of post-trade work support.
Participants begin the program 90 days before release, having meetings with a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) weekly, both in prison and after release.
The QMHPs assist the client and their family in transitioning from prison to civilian life.
They utilize their collaborations to provide trade school training, OJT, mental health, and job opportunities for returning citizens.
